Mini Atomiade 2024 – Ispra, Italy
Trail run in “Parco Golfo della Quassa”

Our running club had the pleasure of organizing the trail running for Mini Atomiade 2024, hosted by the Joint Research Centre, Ispra. We had 25 participants from research institutes all over Europe who enjoyed the scenic trail route from Ispra to Ranco and back.
Congratulations to all participants for their excellent performances. We are grateful to our collaborators and amazing volunteers for making this event a success!

Race details
-
- At the race venue, there is a public toilet available for use. However, note that there are no shower facilities on-site. Changing rooms with showers are available in the JRC Clubhouse, which can be accessed after lunch.
- For practical reasons, we will be using plastic water bottles at the water point. Please dispose of the used bottles in the trash bag that will be placed 50 meters after the water point. Alternatively, you can keep the bottles and hand them over to the volunteers along the race track.
- Please do not discard any used energy gel/bar packs along the race track. Similarly to the bottles, please hand them over to the volunteers along the race track.
- Please note that the urban roads will not be closed to regular traffic during the race. Our volunteers and the municipal police will ensure that runners have priority. In some cases, volunteers or police may instruct you to run on a specific side of the road. Please remain attentive during the race.
- While we will make every effort to clean the track, we would like to inform you that there are 3 fallen trees crossing the track. However, these obstacles are easy to navigate.
- Consider to bring a swimsuit and a beach towel with you for a refreshing swim in the lake after the race.
